14 & Under Girls Softball

RULES SPECIFIC TO THIS TOURNAMENT
1. A player is eligible to play in the tournament if they are of age on the first day of the tournament they are playing in.
2. Games are seven innings or 1 1/2 hours unless tied. A ten-run rule applies after five innings and a fifteen-run rule after four innings. The 10/15 run rule applies in all games. The International tie-breaker rule will apply to ALL games. No time limit is used in the Semi-finals or finals.
3. Pitchers are allowed three warm-up pitches at the start of an inning or five warm-ups following a change of pitchers. This may be extended at the discretion of the umpire.

TOURNAMENT PROCEDURES
The first two days of the tournament consist of pool play. Each team is guaranteed four games. The semi-finals and finals will be held on Sunday.

TIE-BREAKERS IN POOL STANDINGS:
Two-way tie. Winner of head-to-head game advances. Three or more tied. If one team has defeated both or all of the other tied teams, that team advances. If not, the team allowing the fewest runs in all games advances. If three or more teams are still tied, the team allowing the fewest walks and HBP will advance. Whenever two teams are left tied, the winner of their head-to-head game advances.
